The Go-To Wine Bar in Bristol

We’re all about

…sustainable, organic, vegan, sometimes biodynamic, sometimes natural, always mind-blowing wine. Made by winemakers who care. About their land and about the glass in your hand.

We serve it from the tap and by the glass in our wine bar, garden and shop in Bedminster, Bristol. Our selection of organic wine, artisan cheese and charcuterie changes weekly, and whether you book or just walk-in, we’ll always find you a spot. And every week we host wine tasting events that help you dive deeper into wine, and give us the opportunity to talk about our favourite subject!

Not in Bristol? No biggie. We ship our range of organic and minimal intervention wine to homes and offices up and down the country as part of our DIY and virtually hosted wine and cheese tastings. Ideal for corporate get-togethers, private parties or even a cosy date night in, level up your weekend with an At-Home Wine Tasting Kit.

It’s like a cross between one of those social clubs you get in rural Italy and a 70s cocktail bar on the Côte d’Azur! I love it

SUCH good cheese and wine, and so fun and accessible too. Thank you! x

FAQ

Are You Available For Private Events?
What makes a wine bar?
  • A wine bar is a venue centred on showcasing a variety of wines. Unlike regular bars, wine is the main attraction here, often accompanied by a selection of artisan cheese. It’s a place where guests can learn about and appreciate wines, guided by knowledgeable staff.
What Kind of Wine Do You Offer?
  • The wines we love and serve are from small, independent producers who tend to see themselves as farmers rather than winemakers. They farm sustainably (the vast majority organically), using natural solutions not chemicals. Some adopt biodynamic practices and many create their wines with minimal intervention, adding and taking away as little as possible – believing this to be the purest expression of the grape(s).We like wines that tell stories of the country, region, microclimate, vineyard and grower. Grape varieties you may never have heard of from countries you didn’t know made great wine, alongside unique expressions of the crowd-pleasers.We don’t like chemicals, pesticides, additives, computerised technologies and petri-dishes. Bland industrial wines made to a checklist determined by what buyers think customers want.
